Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa
The Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa has been key in providing information about the Education System in the United States and Dallas Region since August of 2015. The families and individuals that visit have a special interest in learning about ESL/GED courses and understanding what their options are to ultimately reach their goal of obtaining a college degree.
The Office of Outreach at the University of North Texas and The Consulate of Mexico in Dallas created a partnership and reestablished the Ventanilla in January of 2018. This has led to an increase in information inquiries about Financial Aid, Scholarships, and UNT specific requirements to attend college. The Ventanilla has also collaborated with other local organizations and DFW Communities to provide this assistance to serve families and students of Hispanic descent.
The Ventanilla provides this information at the Consulate of Mexico Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while also doing community events and programs throughout the DFW Area.
